Lee, Massachusetts



BOSTON & MAINE 1850

This day, April 2, 1982, marks the first day of Boston & Maine freight service over the old New Haven Danbury-Pittsfield line. Geep 1850 passes the refurbished startion at Lee, Mass. now operated as Sullivan Square Restaurant. Between the New Haven and B&M the line also was operated by Penn Central and Conrail.

Old Chatham Railroad Station - 1910



OLD CHATHAM RAILROAD STATION - 1910
Chatham, Mass

The old Chatham Railroad operated between Chatham, Mass and Harwich from 1887 to 1937. This original pasenger station has been restored as a railroad museum by the Town of Chatham. Many objects, some over 100 years old, and connected with the early days of rail-roads in the U.S.A. are on exhibition.
